Abstract

One of the trickiest issues in the history of modern philosophy is the relationship between Bruno and Vico: in fact, though this relation seems possible and even evident on a philosophical ground, it has never been proved on the base of specific and reliable documents. Examining some materials preserved in the Virginia University Library, this essay intends to put forward some hypotheses which may shed new light on Vico’s oeuvre.
