The paper presents the materials from the daunian necropolis of Valle Castagno (Ascoli Satriano, FG), excavated in 2009. Five late-archaic graves (late 6th-early 5th century BC) were discovered, referred to a small group of individuals. In the tombs were different classes of materials such as pottery (matt-painted, black and red glazed, or plain) and ornaments (beads, pendants, fibulae, bracelets, rings, earrings). Weapons are not attested.
