«Per le malizie ischifare e per mantenere la persona salvamente» : per un’analisi lessicale dei volgarizzamenti fiorentini del "Régime du corps"

This article aims to analyse scientific terms from the medical essay "Santà del corpo", a translation into Florentine vernacular from the original text, written by Aldobrandino of Siena in Ancient French in 1256. It discusses the variants in the Italian manuscripts in order to restore the correct lessons starting from the "Régime du corps’s" text. The glossary provides different examples of hapax legomena, first statements of terms in Italian and a lot of difficult lemmas whose explanation is offered with a stable consultation of Rossella Baldini’s edition (1998), based on Laur. Pl. 73.47 and with the comparison between the most important dictionaries (TLIO, DEI, GDLI). "Santà del corpo" has shown itself to be an important medical essay, due to the fact that the use of vernacular constitutes an important revolution.
