The essay offers some considerations regarding De iure monarchiae and its author, Guglielmo Centueri. Both work and author matured at the Lombard court of Gian Galeazzo Visconti. This court in fact represented a veritable ‘crossroads of influences’ at the Italian, European and Mediterranean levels: intellectuals from the most varied backgrounds such as, for example, Antonio Loschi, Pietro Filargo and Manuele Crisolora were programmatically called to it.

Abstract
The essay offers some considerations regarding De iure monarchiae and its author, Guglielmo Centueri. Both work and author matured at the Lombard court of Gian Galeazzo Visconti. This court in fact represented a veritable ‘crossroads of influences’ at the Italian, European and Mediterranean levels: intellectuals from the most varied backgrounds such as, for example, Antonio Loschi, Pietro Filargo and Manuele Crisolora were programmatically called to it.File in questo prodotto:
