The essay analyses Dante’s verse, the hendecasyllable of the Commedia in particular. Analysis of verse includes prosody, rhythm, the relationship between meter and syntax as well as discursive structures. These aspects of Dante’s verse craft show significant innovation with respect to the metrical tradition of the 13th century.
Il saggio analizza la versificazione dantesca, in particolare l’endecasillabo della "Commedia". L’analisi della versificazione comprende la prosodia, il ritmo, il rapporto tra metro e sintassi, nonché le strutture discorsive. Questi aspetti dell’arte poetica di Dante mostrano una significativa innovazione rispetto alla tradizione metrica del XIII secolo.
