Trovatori petrosi. Marcabru, Raimbaut d’Aurenga, Arnaut Daniel

This work develops the relationship between Dante’s ‘petrose’ and the clus line of trobar and its main representatives. In the development of Dante’s composition technique we can observe moments of returns, retractions and overcoming of models: the mediation of Guittone as a filter for the formation of a canon of ‘uncomfortable troubadours’ is therefore essential to understand Dante’s debt to the previous tradition. The investigation also promotes Raimbaut d’Aurenga as an important troubadour within the line of development that will lead to Arnaut Daniel’s sestina and to Dante.

Il presente lavoro sviluppa e approfondisce il rapporto di prestito e innovazione che unisce il Dante delle petrose alla linea ‘clus’ del trobar e ai suoi maggiori rappresentanti. La mediazione di Guittone come filtro per la formazione di un canone di ‘trovatori scomodi’ operativo in Toscana è fondamentale per comprendere nella sua globalità il percorso dantesco, fatto di ritorni, ritrattazioni e superamenti rispetto alla tradizione precedente. L’indagine promuove inoltre la figura di Raimbaut d’Aurenga quale trovatore di rilievo all’interno della linea di sviluppo che porterà ad Arnaut Daniel e quindi a Dante.
