The article analyzes how the constitutional revolution of 1820 in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies was portrayed by contemporaries, who highlighted its success in a short period of time, using the metaphor of ''electrical communication''to express the spreading capacity of the revolutionary message. Particular attention is paid to the individual and collective practices through which the military pronouncement of early July was disseminated and embraced at the local level.
