Wikidata e la ricerca. Condividere esperienze : Atti del Convegno, Firenze, 5-6 giugno 2025

This volume collects the contributions presented at the conference “Wikidata and Research”, organized by the University of Florence and Wikimedia Italia on 5–6 June 2025. The conference was an international scholarly event devoted to Wikidata and Wikibase, arising from the collaboration among the academic community, Wikimedia volunteers, librarians, and data professionals. The conference explored the synergies between research and Wikidata through contributions covering various disciplinary areas (digital humanities, classical studies, historical and territorial studies, art history, and natural sciences), addressing topics such as data modeling, visualization techniques, and data retrieval, via research and projects embracing open science principles and the use of open licenses and formats.
