Abstract

In 1935 Italo Cremona and Carlo Mollino, members of the Turin editorial board of Il Selvaggio, presented an artwork, Tè numero 2, with declared Surrealist reminiscences, at an exhibition at the Società Pro Cultura Femminile of Turin. Two texts dedicated to this installation by Velso Mucci, a contributor to Il Selvaggio who moved to Paris in 1934, and some visual sources for Cremona’s painting offer some hypotheses to enrich the interpretation of Tè numero 2.
