«Quel poco che ancora oggi resiste». Per un commento ad altri versi di Eugenio Montale

This paper examines the last collection of poems by Eugenio Montale, still lacking a complete commentary. Its intertextuality has been focused on, by analyzing the different types of quotations and identifying some new sources. Pointing out the cultural references and the internal quotations from Montale's previous works, particularly in prose, has allowed to shed light on the creative process typical of this late production. These first contributions aim to serve as a starting point for a more extensive interpretation of these almost unexplored texts, pending a complete commentary to the Altri versi.
