This article discusses in greater detail the fragmentary dithyramb Pind. fr. 70c Snell–Maehler, preserved in POxy. 1604 (a collection of Pindaric dithyrambs), which most likely represents the third surviving example of Pindar’s poetic production for Corinth, alongside the epinician ode Olympian13 and the σκόλιον/ ἐγκώμιονfr. 122 Snell–Maehler composed for the Corinthian athlete Xenophon. The analysis aims to offer additional considerations supporting its Corinthian destination and, more importantly, a close examination of the potential intertextual connections between the dithyramb and Olympian 13, already partially suggested in scholarly debate. This lays the groundwork for exploring a threefold connection between Olympian 13, fr. 70c, and fr. 122 Snell–Maehler, opening up the possibility of framing them as a coherent Corinthian lyric ‘triad’.
